Disassembly of the azimuth thruster

Preparation and safety measures

- Disconnecting the thruster from hydraulic power sources
- Securing the work area and preparing the necessary lifting equipment

Disconnection of control and power systems

- Disconnecting control systems
- Draining hydraulic circuits and removing pressure lines

Removal of the propeller and steering nozzle

- Removing the securing nut of the propeller
- Detaching and lifting off the steering nozzle
- Inspecting propeller blades for wear or damage

Disassembly of the gearbox and drive shaft

- Removing the gearbox housing
- Extracting the drive shaft and gear components
- Inspecting bearings, seals and gear teeth for wear or damage

Removal of the swivel column

- Disconnecting the rotation cylinder and sealing systems
- Extracting the rotation mechanism and support bearings
- Checking friction surfaces and steering components for wear

Cleaning and inspection

- Thoroughly cleaning all components to remove deposits, grease and corrosion
- Conducting a detailed inspection to determine the need for replacements or repairs
